Hello and Welcome back from Beijing! How amazing of you to go and since I haven't gushed since December...it's time again. :) I just wish I could snag you away at a cocktail party and grab your hands and jump up and down with excitement on what you create with Olivia Newton-John. Your production showcases everything rich, warm and romantic in that wonderful voice and YOU COLLABORATING WITH A MUSIC LEGEND!!!! (more jumping up and down thanking my/our lucky stars!) I can't wait to hear the ONJCC cd 'A Celebration in Song' ...so far 'Everything love is' has Livvy sounding like it's a 1970's love song and I'm in love all over again. I am so grateful you both seem to inspire eachother to do beautiful work. PLEASE NEVER STOP! You still have me listening to "Little Star of Bethlehem" and all of Christmas Wish in May and 'Every living thing on this earth has a heart' from "Pearls on a Chain" still the best opening lyric to introduce a new Olivia Newton-John cd set. ....are you feeling the love yet? All happiness to you. J p.s. When's Grace & Gratitude 2 coming out? :)

I have been a huge fan of your amazing voice for a long time. From the first time I ever heard you sing "Ordinary Miracles" I knew that some day when my daughter got married I would want that song incorporated somehow into her wedding. She did get married to a wonderful man in July 2007 and we chose to play this song with the slide show of the bride and grooms lives from babies to adults. There could not have been a more perfect song selection! Needless to say, there weren't many dry eyes as we watched and listened. I was thrilled when you played at the music club we belong to in Calgary - Bow Valley Music Club - in March 2005, and am so looking forward to seeing you adn Marc again on May 3. Amy, I think youre an amazing vocalist and brilliant producer. I have read your name in fine print for decades but never really discovered you until your association with Olivia Newton-John beginning with the album,"Stronger Than Before" and later the gem, "Grace & Gratitude" THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Olivia is sounding better than ever thanks to you! I look forward to future music from you and I'm excited to see what you and Olivia have in store for the future. I christen you our John Farrar of the new millenium! ha ha Alan psst--if I may plant this seed in your head. Do you think there's any chance of a future MOR/AC album with ONJ in the near future? Maybe some upbeat production thrown in? Think Sarah McLachlans Possession--not particularly dance but a motivating electriconic drum track to pick up the pace. It may appease the fans wanting the dance CD from her--only a suggestion :) Maybe some songs celebrating new love--life at the moment. Songs with stories with social awareness--think Reba McEntires, She Thinks His Name Was John. But in this case a song about a woman named ( lets say ) Emily having to face grim possibilities :( And a few kick up your heels and let down your hair themed tracks! haha Not particularly country--just the theme. Sounds like a good idea for a duet. Two friends who seldom find the time to get together but cut loose every now and then for those facials and manicures and so on. OK, yes I have an overactive imagination but lordy do I dream about the next ONJ projects still!! Peace

Hello. I am very spiritual and feel very connected to the philosophies of Amy and Olivia. I am a 36 year old woman, married with 2 kids. I am married to a man with a mood disorder. I find it very difficult. Though I am very spiritual, I feel I am losing my strength and myself a little. I am currently listening to Grace and Gratitude but I also have some other of Amy's cds. I truly look up to these women as I feel most people do not possess a spiritual guidance to make it through life's challenges like Ms. Sky does. I look forward to purchasing more music created in line with spiritual guidance. I have said for a long time that media in this culture is quite irresponsible so it is refreshing for someone like myself to readily find such music. > A feeling of profound darkness looms > within entities inhabiting such gloom > shadows web entwined, trapped, dare flight > dare hope, fighting, yearning for light > > Despair masked by pseudo confidence > Then some guidance opens the fence > a chance to break free and valiantly stride > to a finish line exuding happiness and pride > > subconsciously halting, unknowingly the purpose > souls need to be free, but fears resurface > Guidance, Guidance I need you and me > to achieve the ultimate goal, being happy. >Heather

Thank you so much! Your song "I will take care of you" is a huge inspiration to me and my family. My mom was severly sick when I was six, and passed away when I was fourteen. Now I am going to be 18 in 2 weeks. When she came out of the hospital the first time, she had the mentality of a young person my age. Once she learnt to talk again, she went on the radio and dedicated that song to my sister, brother and I. Thank you so much for your song helping be to get through these rough times.

Hey Amy, Long time, eh? I came across you somewhere in cyberspace and I was so happy to see all the success and happiness you have. Wow, like you're really really famous. That's cool. Anyways, I recently moved to Jerusalem with my husband and some of our five kids. (3 boys, 2 girls ages 15-25) After graduating high school I went to Israel for a year, where my interest in my Jewish heritage was sparked. I became Torah observant and have, thank G-d, remained so. I have been living in Monsey, New York for the past 20 years. I have a graphic design business, and my husband Yaakov is also in marketing and communication. We came to Israel for a years sabbatical this year because our youngest son, Gedaliah, was going off to Yeshiva in Minnesota, and we were going to be kid-free for the first time in forever. Once we came, we loved it so much, we put our house up for sale and are buying something here. Do you know Sandy Samuals? I think she went to High school with both our mothers. She lived across the street for us on Rosemary Lane? She has a place across the street from us here. Anyways, I'd love to hear how you and your siblings are doing. All the best, Heidi Bender Ort ps: wouldn't it be so embarassing if you totally didn't remember me. Check our pics of my family if you want on my facebook, which is in my Hebrew Name. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the magical evening with you and Marc in Barrie on the 25th. As I said to you after the show, you and Marc should do a joint concert in an intimate setting and create a DVD of the concert. I was at your show On Sat Jan 26th and it was very special for me....you see, my wife Maureen was a huge fan of yours. After courageously battling Ovarian cancer for almost 2 years she passed away in late October. She was so much looking forward to seeing you and was saddened when she know she would not be able to attend. I sat alone in the front row, centre of the first balcony and shared your tears as you sang I Will Take Care Of You....aAs her cancer progressed we played this often. Your words were comforting at a time when we held each other tight "I will take care of you the very best that I can With all of the love here in my heart and all of the strength in my hands Your every joy I'll share for every tear i'll be there" Thank you for a most special evening. Hi Amy, My family and I would have loved to have hung around to compliment you in person but our babies were way past their bedtimes. Just wanted to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed last evening's show at the LAC. Your pleasant, friendly demeanour comes through loud and clear. You had my Wife crying the moment she heard your voice. Your touching lyrics coupled with your beautiful vocals made it a night to remember. Our 3 children ages 8, 10 and 12 loved every second of your show. In fact, I would have yelled "The Alexander family up here in the balcony loved it" after you sang Ordinary Miracles if I could have mustered the nerve to do it. My eldest said it was "cool" when I leaned over midway through "I Will Take of You" to tell him I'd made that same promise the first time I'd rocked him as a newborn. Amy, Curious to know if anyone's ever said they notice similiarities between your and Carole King's singing? Thanks for wonderful evening and a special family memory. Hello Amy, I had the pleasure of attending your concert this evening. All I can say is PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!! All your songs have amazing lyrics, some more true to the heart than others. Ordinary Miracles makes me think of my three children all the time. One is turning 27 on Tuesday... really makes me think of how precious life is and to seize every moment, because once you turn around, they are all grown up. The small stupid stuff will always be there, but all it takes is a blink and another second goes by. That is why we must enjoy each moment. And yes I did cry in the audience tonight twice!!! of course the other song was I will Take Care of You.... ANyway, I do not want to bore you, but I just wanted to say what a great evening! and you truly are phenomenl!!! God Bless you and your family. Warmest wishes, Alexandra

Amy- hi, my name is Brigitte and i work as a nurse fulltime and Energy Healer in my "spare" time. As an Australian i have always enjoyed Olivia Newton-John but have been absolutely blown away by her latest cd grace & gratitude- your lyrics are awesome!!! I facilitate a relaxation/meditation class at a local neighborhood community centre once a week and i will be utilising yours & Olivia's music in these sessions- along with body awareness stretches with yoga breathing techniques and a chakra balancing i usually close with an inspirational song at the end- so yours&Olivia's cd will be getting plenty of air play. This is the way of the future!!! As the dimensions on the earth plane are shifting and the consciousness of the masses is shifting along with it (we can no longer sustain a planet that is so chaotic with anger so it has to progress and shift gears so to speak!!) i send you love light and healings with absolute "grace & gratitude" Brigitte (Red Buffalo Woman)XXXXXX

Dear Amy, I am so thrilled with the music you are creating with Olivia Newton-John. The production of a legend is a huge responsiblity and you have placed Olivia's music right where it should be fitting of her gifts and superstar status. Your instrumentation is BEAUTIFUL and you dance around Olivia's vocals raising them together to new heights. 'Learn to love yourself' and 'Little star of Bethleham' are exquisite. I hope you continue as I know there is more to achieve. With ONJ discussing colors of her vocals and how the Holiday cd was to be more quiet until it's distribution deal inspired more pop appeal hints to your joint goals to artistry and I still want that cd as I no doubt the best is still yet to come. I recently enjoyed Herbie Hancocks 'Edith and the Kingpin' with Tina Turners take on Joni Mitchell...the relatable Jazz was so deliciously abstract and I can't help but imagine you winding out Olivia's vocals to a very artsy end offering something extra forward to consider beyond my hopes of of something beyond the exciting ideas of bossa nova or songbook vehicle to hang your good work on. I remember hearing Olivia sing 'Over the Rainbow' live with the flute fluttering around her regal vocals like blue birds and the jazzy influences touched on with the Phil Ramone cd, 'Indigo' are just jumping off points for the future. Hoping you many ideas and inspirations to continue to fill the world with beauty, magic and art.

Hi Amy, I wanted to tell you I truly admire your talents. The songs you write have great meaning. They truly move people. I heard you sing at Churchhills in North Bay and I loved the emotion you put into your music. I can tell you feel each word you sing. I am 41 and just started to sing adout four years ago. I sang for years in my home, but was to afraid to sing in front of people. I started by taking lesson from a man in town who plays many insruments, sings, writes songs and records in his home. I loved it. It was so overpowering it scared me. My husband however didn't like how overpowering it was and fought me tooth and nail until I finally quit working with this man. I sing now at church and local events. I don't play any instruments so I am limited to what I can do. I sang last year at our fair with the help of you and your karaoke CD. I sang "I Will Take Care Of You". I have two boys, so it was easier for me to sing. I also love "Ordinary Miracles". You have a great gift and I'm glad you weren't afraid to use it. I know how amazing it feels to move people with your voice and feel a connection with the band and audience and you did that at Churchhills. I was at the concert where the foot pedal was making a noice. Thank You for sharing your gift.

Hi Amy, Been trying to reach you on and off for over a year now. Want to send you my best wishes and to let you know that you can find a new version of one of your songs on my latest CD with Frontiers. It's been ages since we've talked and a lot has happened since. I had another top 10 in the UK charts and it sold nearly 3 million copies to date. Believe it or not it was with a re mix and re sing of "First Time"... Went to London, did Top of the Pops and I am now working on yet another cd. Would love to catch up with you for all the rest. Please give my best to Marc and your family. Love, Robin

I was the one who wrote to you, along with my niece, Rachel Riter, to request the music from "Instrument of Peace" which you wrote and performed with Olivia Newton-John. My niece wanted to sing the song in our church, as a tribute to the victims of the shootings at Virginia Tech (in our state, and where we have friends who have attended or are attending there). It was also sung in honor of her grandmother, my mother, who loves the words from St. Francis. Our choir director, a very accomplished woman herself, arranged the basic tune that you so freely sent to us, and the result was a very moving and special "premiere" of your beautiful song. Rachel received many comments about how it had touched so many, and we give all the glory to you. . . we are sending you a copy of the cassette tape of her performance. I'm hoping that Rachel can write about this providential gift that you gave to us, and possibly send to Guideposts magazine, a Christian publication. I also hope that we can continue to correspond with you. Rachel has written some poetry herself, which could very easily be arranged in song. I know she would appreciate your guidance. . .thanks so much, again, for your blessing on this!

Hi Amy, Greetings from Singapore! Just wanted to say Congratulations and Thank You for the wonderfully produced and arranged Grace & Gratitude CD! I've been a long time fan of Olivia Newton-John and truly appreciate your collaboration with her, in past songs from Stronger Than Before but especially more recently, in G&G. It’s truly a beautiful album and is doing extremely well here, especially since Olivia's concert last April 27. I’m looking forward to your next collaboration - the Christmas album! In the meantime, I’m getting to know your own solo work and really love your songs! Wishing you all the very best and may you continue to write, produce and sing more beautiful music! For sometime now I would periodically hear an amazing voice on the radio and ask myself ... "who on earth is that"? I finally heard an announcer mention your name and had to run out and buy your "The Best of Amy Sky" CD. I buy a CD perhaps once every two or three years at best. It's now close to 3:00 AM and can't get away from it. I guess one can afford that luxury when you're 62 and retired. I hope CDs don't wear out at this rate. Your music and voice literally sends chills up my spine. In an oceon of mediocrity on the radio waves you are certainly a treasure. Dear Amy, I finally had to sit down and tell you how your song. I will take care of you relates to my life. You see I had this amazing relationship with my Mom and after she passed away and I heard this song I was in the car with my family and I had my husband stop the car so I could ball my eyes out. You see I was born in 1962, married in 1983,took care of my Mom when she was sick and passed away in 1988 and my baby girl was born in 1990. There is a year difference or so but everytime I hear this song I think it's my Mom speaking to me and telling me she will take care of me. Everytime I hear it I cry because it seems to come on the radio everytime I am upset or worried about something. Thank you so much for your music and may God bless you and your family. My folks, who live around Orillia, ON. saw you at a "Fundraiser" sometime prior to Nov. 7th '06 and picked up your Life Lessons CD. They mailed it to me with a note that they really enjoyed your music and talent. From what I hear on the CD I have to agree. Great CD and great website.

Amy, Because of "Grace & Gratitude" I have learned of your work and also that you are behind some of my favorite Olivia tracks. I do apologize directing this more about Olivia but have great pleasure in thanking ones who have helped in the journey. Thank you for "Winter Angel" , thank you for "Lets Talk About Tomorrow" and thank you for your latest work. I love music that "pulls you in" with each verse. During concerts, I still get chills from her rock medley, but watching "Pearls on a Chain" gave me a whole new chill. I feel lucky that Olivia is stronger than before and feel grateful to those who have helped make it possable. Music does keep us going and thank you for making it so enjoyable. Sincerely, John

I first got to like Amy when I heard the song "Deliver Me" on Roch Voisine's album 'Kissing Rain' in 1997. When Roch came to Halifax, Nova Scotia for a concert for that album - his opening act was Amy - I've liked her since then. One of the kindest and the sweetest - I gave her a white rose at that concert and talk about friendly. She shook my hand and was very gracious. She gave me her autograph that night and I've loved her ever since. Just bought the new album today - and it's got some of my faves...I'll be sitting down to really listen to it on the weekend. Keep up the EXCELLENT job, Amy!!!

I love the songs you wrote for and with Olivia Newton-John for her latest album "Grace and Gratitude". Is the sheet music for any of those songs being published? If so, where can I get copies? In particular I'd love to get "I will lift up my eyes", "instrument of peace", "let go, let God", and "Love is letting go of fear." I would like to use them in worship in our United Methodist Church in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Thank you, Graeme Greenhill

Hello Amy: I first started listening to your music several years ago. I was fortunate enough to see you in concert here as well. I too was born in 1961 and my mother is currently sick in the hospital with cancer. So, of course I can very much relate to your song "I will take care of you". There are so many other songs that you have both written and peformed though that touch me in ways I can't even put into words. You are a truly gifted songwriter as well as an inspiration to all. Your words on life, love, loss, sorrow, hope, etc. are beautiful and they touch my soul. Best wishes and continued success to you Amy!

I love your song, "I will take care of you. It really touched my heart in every way. I am a mother of two and grandmother of a 10 year old, whom I raised until 6 years old and then the parent descide to be a parent. I lost her despite her deep desire to remain with me. This was our song and it really hits home. It caught my attention when it started on a September afternoon in 1961 because I was born on Sept 8, 1961. thank you for such a beautifully written song than can touch the hearts of all ages. This song to me show how life should really be, your mother loves you, protects you your whole life through and we as daughters should do the same once they get on in years. Todays generation doesn't get it. thank you again for this lovely song. I will charish it always. with much respect and admiration and all the very best to you and your family. Lorrie Barber

Amy, I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful music. I have enjoyed your CD's (altho I still need to pick up your new release), and also enjoyed your concerts at Brock. The last concert I went to, I attended with my mother. At the time, I remember thanking you for your song "I Will Take Care of You". This past year I've had to live that song. On March 21st my mother, 79, had a stroke that left her paralysed on her left side. My father, 81, no longer drives, so for 29 days I drove him to the hospital twice a day to visit her. For the next 29 days I drove him to spend every afternoon with her at the Shaver hospital (across the street from Brock). Many evenings I would return to the hospital to help my mom get ready for bed. When I would leave the hospital and see Brock across the street, I would recall that song and spending that evening with my mom there. That song parallels my life pretty closely - I was born in 1962, married in 1983, and my son was born in 1992. When my mom was in the hospital she would say - this is too much for you to do, you have a family to take care of - and I would tell her not to worry, my family was fine, and I was exactly where I wanted and needed to be. Fortunately, my mom has made a remarkable recovery - at her age she will probably never recover fully, but close enough. I think you have an amazing gift, and am glad that you chose to share it with the world. Thank you. Michele

Hi Amy: Just a little to say hello. I'm not sure if you'll remember me. We meet years ago, at Village By The Grange in Toronto, off Queen Street. You played piano on the little stage, and I worked at the hot dog joint. I'm still an announcer, used to work down in Toronto at CHFI FM. I like being up North. I caught you on Breakfast Television in regard to the Supercities Walk. I'm mentioning in On-air,here on the New Chay, we have walks in Barrie and Alliston. You sound wonderful. I love the song, I will take care of you.. It's beautiful. September 3, 2006 Amy, I first heard your song, Do You Dance, on the local radio station about a week ago as I was waking up. I quickly bounded out of bed and jotted down the info because it reminded me so much of the message in the monumental web based movie, THE SECRET, just released to the world a few months ago.(www.thesecret.tv). You most likely have already heard about it. I purchased your Life's Lessons CD 2 nights ago and have almost worn it out, especially the DO YOU DANCE song. It is so moving, it makes me cry. You see, the part about "following your bliss" which I understand was what inspired you to write this song, is also a major message in THE SECRET. The quote in THE SECRET movie (near the end) is: "Joseph Campbell said 'follow your bliss'. We think those words are the best ever spoken from a human tongue." I am so inspired, I have sent an email to THE SECRET people suggesting they include your song into their "rumoured" movie sequel. Thank you for being such an inspiration! ..Mary Ann Bourdeau Kitchener, Ontario mabourd@rogers.com 519 502-5924

I have a poem I wrote, that is heartfelt that I thought you could make it a song. I could care less, I am just trying to send a message. hope this gets to you. Christmas Presents Won’t nobody listen, can’t anybody see Christmas really isn’t about, what’s under the tree Brought to us because of a gift of love We seemed to have decided, it’s not from above It’s not about how very much we give or even receive As so many people seem to believe Instead of counting the mass beneath a fake resemblance of a tree Count instead the sparkle in the eyes of those you love and see Count the hugs, ever so tight that make you feel warm, on the coldest night Gifts for others or even for you can be forgotten in a month or two Once those you love, are no longer here You can’t bring them back, no matter how dear While the lights glitter, let the love light shine It may seem like little, but the memories will last a lifetime What truly counts, when it’s all said and done It’s not the brightly wrapped gifts It’s special things, like a mother and son The best thing that makes Christmas immense Is really family and their “presence” Leilani T.C. Brown Written: December 17, 1997 Dedication: To Mom & Dan my very favorite Christmas “Presence” I’ve missed you forever, and loved you even longer.

Amy, My friend Kim happened to come for a visit and I was excited to play a song for her that my friend and I wrote, actually my friend Lucie wrote the lyrics and I put it to music. The song is about her daughter who was diagnosed with Autism. Kim heard the song and she automatically thought that you would be great to sing it as it is similar to your style. I never heard of you until we went into your web site and WHAT A WEBSITE! Yes, I have heard your songs on the radio but was impressed to see how many incredible people you've had the fortune to collaborate with. We are trying to get it registered, but as far as that goes we don't have a clue on what to do next and my head is spinning because many people feel that they could hear someone like Celion Dion or Faith Hill sing it. The funny thing is that my friend Kim suggested you and I am so very excited and inspired with everything I've seen on your website. I cannot wait to show this to my writing partner Lucie. It's always cool to be introduced to an artist I never knew before but very refreshing to be amazed at such a hi-calibar talented woman such as yourself. P.S. I'm doing this from work and we were in a hurry and sorry if it's a little long winded but we were both excited to write to you and thanks for taking the time to read this. Helena and Kim

"I Will Take Care of You" is one of the most heartfelt and beautiful songs i've ever heard in my life... oddly enough I never really caught onto it until this year because of how much they play it on 103.5 QM/FM here in Vancouver.
